I just hung out with my ex who dumped me in one of the worst ways possibles… During prom.
It’s been four years and is forgiven him a long time ago, probably like a month after it happened and I was so gracious. I even tried being his friend even though it hurt me so much.
It’s so weird. I can’t believe he apologized after four years. It felt so great. I’m glad I get to tell the story differently now.
“Yeah, my prom sucked. I got dumped during the middle of it by my boyfriend at the time that I was crazy about. But you know it’s okay, because he sincerely apologized. And thought it was four years later I’m okay.”
